Souvenirs
This page provides an
overview of what
souvenirs are available.
The navigation bar at the

to the pages specific to
each souvenir artisan
and their wares.
Lady Calista runs the Souvenirs Department. She specializes in Dragonology, but she also studies other mythological creatures. She's been
making dragon sculptures for nearly four years, and is working on designs for other creatures, such as unicorns and gryphons. She recently
began making icons of spirit animal totems and dragon claw incense burners.
Her friend and unofficial apprentice, Lady Beth started playing with clay about a year ago. She makes fertility goddess icons and is experimenting
with designs for dragon head incense burners.
Sculptures
Chris Brewer used his fascination with runes, magic and weapons to make wands and staves. Both have runes gracing their smooth surfaces,
and the wands have handles of clay. The runes and the colors used have specific meanings, which will be available on the Wands and Staves
page.
Wands and Staves
Lady Calista and her boyfriend Sir Dave hand-paint wooden tops, Yo-yo's, and wiggly fish. Though they use non-toxic acrylic paint, they may not
be appropriate for children young enough to stick things in their mouth. They're made of wood, after all. Splinters, you know... We also have
"fuzzy wiggles", the perfect pets! You don't have to feed them, they don't make a mess, and won't ever die. They come in mice and ferrets, and
each have their own unique personalities. Lady Beth and Sir Drake make them.
Historical Toys
Lady Christine makes jeweled book spikes and beaded ribbon book marks. She also uses her boyfriend, Sir David's, photographs to make
magnetic book marks. The book spikes are made of thick wire strung with plastic or wooden beads. They can also serve as hair spikes for
women (or men) with thick hair. The beaded ribbon book marks are made from ribbon or cording decorated with beads. You slide the book
through the loop and pull the beads tight to secure your place. The magnetic book marks are made of quality card stock sporting pictures taken
in North Carolina. The ends bear magnets so they won't fall out of your book.
Book Marks
We also have decorative flower pot spikes, hand painted decorative treasure chests, and candles made by Lady Calista; Christmas ornaments,
hand-painted paper parasols and fans, and Norse runes and talismans made by Lady Christine; and soon we'll have incense, stones and
crystals, and herbal remedies.
