Hand-Cased Notebook

During the workshop we will learn the basics about hand-casing prefabricated notebook block, including 

- how to determine the grain direction of the paper/card 

- how to determine the size of the covers and spine based on an existing notebook block

- how to level the surfaces should this be required

- how to determine the size of the decorative covering and turn corners.

Two options are possible: 

(1) Chiyogami paper covers with leather spine

(2) Bookbinding cloth with paper decoration

Based on options selected we will created own covers and case the pre-fabricate block. 

At the end of the workshop you will have a hand-cased notebook to take home to dry / to dry at home for online events.
