"Geometry 1"| Suminagashi print

Suminagashi is an ancient art of ink printing from water surface. It is a temperamental and unpredictable art, as water is fleeting and the shapes change by themselves with a  passage of time.  Each print can only be made once, so no two works will ever be the same. For this collection handprinted paper is offset by black card, highlighting the shapes, organic or geometric.
