In this work each cut-out shape, forming the city and the sky, is a word, Japanese calligraphy kanji in seal script. The City is circular in its' conception and is reaching for the Moon and Stars past the Rains and Clouds. It consists of a mixture of Homes from different periods, standing side by side, just like homes in London. Spaces are filled with Trees and a Road, leading into the beyond. The City is unmoving and serene, sleeping, keeping its inhabitants safe in their homes.
